Features
Electrical Hazard - Electrical Hazard footwear is designed to impede the flow of electricity through the shoe and to the ground, reducing the likelihood of electrocution, in accordance with ASTM F2413-11.
Insulated - Insulated footwear is specialized footwear designed to provide thermal insulation and protection against cold temperatures. It is commonly worn in environments where workers are exposed to cold weather, low temperatures, and cold surfaces, such as in industries like construction, agriculture, outdoor work, and cold storage facilities. The goal of insulated footwear is to keep the feet warm and comfortable, preventing frostbite, discomfort, and other cold-related issues.
Waterproof - Waterproof footwear is designed to prevent water from entering the interior of the shoe or boot, keeping the wearer's feet dry and comfortable in wet and damp conditions. This type of footwear is commonly worn in various work environments, outdoor activities, and recreational settings where exposure to rain, mud, puddles, and wet surfaces is likely.
Composite Toe - Composite toe footwear is a type of safety footwear designed to protect the toes from potential hazards in various work environments. The term "composite" refers to the use of non-metallic materials, often a combination of materials like fiberglass, Kevlar, carbon fiber, or other reinforced plastics, to create the protective toe cap. Composite toe caps offer protection similar to steel or alloy toe caps but with the advantage of being lighter in weight.
Made in the USA with Global Parts - "Made in USA" footwear refers to footwear products that are manufactured or assembled within the United States of America with global parts. This label indicates that the footwear's production processes, from sourcing materials to final assembly, have taken place within the country's borders. For consumers who prioritize buying domestically produced goods, "Made in USA" footwear can signify support for domestic industries, job creation, and quality control.
